Farmer’s First has been in the business of manufacturing pure, natural products since 2003. With a workforce of 99% rural women, we go the extra mile in ensuring utmost quality and hygiene, staying true to our core mission of empowering women and delivering world-class products.

One of our marquee products is the tamarind candy, served on board Jet Airways (A first of its kind offering on any airlines). Packed with the goodness of tamarind pulp, sugar, salt and green chillies, this ‘candy with a twist’ is absolutely free of preservatives, rich in Vitamin C and is the perfect antidote to air sickness, mouth and throat infection. In fact so popular is its presence in the market, that it is today available at leading supermarket chains such as Tescos, Spencer’s, Nuts n Spices and many more. Also our Tamarind Candy is exported to countries such as Canada and Saudi Arabia.

The Farmers First Nursery is a Four Star Nurseries accredited by the National horticulture Board of India. We are the largest supplier of virus free citrus (kinnow) plants in North India. Currently we are supplying virus free Citrus Plants to Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Karnatka.

Our Infrastructure includes fourteen Green Shed Net Houses, four Polyhouses and four screen houses.

The reason farmers trust the plants from our nursery is because we follow the internationally accepted techniques of nursery production which includes the following:

• Sterlization of pot mixture through soil solarization and fumigation to eliminate soil bourne disease.
• Only rootstocks (Jatti Khatti – citrus jambhiri) resistant to phytophthora are used.
• Elite mother progeny of healthy plant material already selected and multiplied in controlled conditions are maintained in screenhouses for the budding of the required citrus plants.
• The budded plants are given the requied irrigation and fertigation through controlled pressurized drip system.

Ornamental plants for household use are also avaliable in our nursery.

Kinnows from our very own GAP certified orchard, which are washed, waxed and graded by size on our farmer owned waxing plant.
